Will have the clout at some point to get the Total war series on Gog especially Napoleon Total war and DLC. Giving democratic choice at the very least should be mandatory. China already controls the gaming market restricting time played etc for example. I can only assume due to Steams lack of responses the data is collected is a valuable resource sent a Government department or other. Many do not want the constant time played and recorded on ones account and in your face as such for many reasons. This is a great option if one wants it and Steam offers no choice and will never offer offer it as a democratic choice. Without going on and on just one of many examples Gog.com I being far smaller than Steam offers the option not to record time played on each game. Steam a monopolistic giant controls all collecting all manner of data they don't tell you.
